eFocus TV Purchasing iPhone 5 for employees
The iPhone 5 has more excitement and expectation than President Obama on day one of being appointed to office. One company in the Tyson’s Corner area of Northern Virginia is so excited about the release of the iPhone 5 that they are purchasing the highly anticipated phone/uber-device for each of their employees. Impressive if you ask me, hint to my boss. With all of the hype surrounding the newest addition to the IOS family it’s not a wonder that many companies would consider purchasing a unit for their employees or at the least for their creme de la creme. In fact, given all of the hoopla towards the expected October 14th release of the iPhone 5; I wouldn’t find it surprising if companies had their representatives on the “cheese line” waving a flag donned with the company logo. As for me, I have seen the excruciating line since the iPhone’s release in the summer of 2007. I will certainly pass on being homeless for 8 hours. Although the conversation you strike up in the line can remind you of college days when we were prone to talk with random strangers and it was considered “character building”. Not to mention at that time in the Summer of 2007. at the head of the “recession”, I paid $800.00 to be released from contract with T-Mobile. Following, an additional $600.00 to purchase the iPhone. In this so called “recession” i expect Apple to do their numbers and can bet on record sales, reminiscent of the unleashing of RCA television sets in 1953. I can definitely see many companies using the iPhone as an incentive or bonus purchase to write off in taxes and encourage employees to stay with their company. Don’t be surprised if you see the green logo from eFocus TV on a flag outside of your local Virginia Apple Store.
